The vineyard plots are in two separate blocks, 10 km apart: Le Jas, where the sales cellar is located, to the east of Lorgues, and La Seillane, where the horses are located, to the west of Lorgues.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n

Le Jas<\/p>\n\t\t

The terroir of Le Jas is <\/span>clay-limestone<\/span> avec des<\/span> red soils<\/span> on the southern part.\u00a0<\/span>The vines are situated at an altitude of<\/span> 200-220 meters<\/span> on an orthogneiss plateau, which provides a well-drained and mineral-rich soil, conducive to the production of very high-quality wines.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n

In Provence, a \"jas\" refers to a sheepfold or stone building used by shepherds to shelter their flocks. The building in which our sales cellar is located once housed a jas. The term is typical of our region's rural vocabulary and evokes an important aspect of Provencal pastoral heritage.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

This is where we make all our plot selections. Baptiste planted all the vines with massal selections. The soils are more draining than at Le Jas, with an old dried-up riverbed composed of <\/span>sand<\/span> and a subsoil made of <\/span>chalk<\/span> which preserves freshness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n
